Last week we featured Sally and Darren McBrides award winning garden centre in Kalgoorlie.
This beautiful oasis in the desert is a local favourite with keen gardeners and visitors alike and the McBrides are continually striving to stock only the best products and plants .
As well as the greenery, there’s an information lounge where customers can relax and read through the many landscaping and garden magazines and books while enjoying a freshly ground cup of coffee. If you can’t find inspiration in the magazines, Darren and Sally offer a DIY section where customers can bring in digital photo’s of their properties which can then be viewed on a TV monitor with the McBrides offering advice on landscaping to suit and plant selection.
The McBrides have a strong sense of community which see them support Regional urban land care groups and they run waterwise workshops to educate kids on this important natural resource.
