For nearly 20 years,176 Anzac Road, Mount Hawthorn was home to the very popular garden and gift centre, Lavender Blues. When the owners moved to new premises, Vanessa Kelly saw her chance to move in and develop her own landscape design and supply business, Boutanique.
Boutanique is a hybrid name, gathered from the French word for “Botanic” blended with “Unique”. And Boutanique, the business, is certainly that!
Vanessa has completely redesigned the layout and with the invaluable help of her mother Robyn, has established delightful “outdoor rooms” which clearly illustrate a range of landscape concepts that combine a design theme with complimentary planting and décor items like statues and pottery.
Vanessa believes that people find it difficult to envisage a design idea in sketch form or even photographs, so when they visit Boutanique, it’s all laid out for them to see.
Boutanique can design and construct and supply all appropriate plants and accessories. It certainly is a unique and friendly business.
