We continue our series on the Waterwise Rebate Scheme, looking this week at Rainwater Tanks as a means of saving money in the household budget as well as helping the environment.
David Grant talks with Sheryl Chaffer from the Housing Industry Association and learns that a rebate of up to $150 is available on the installation of a rainwater tank and a further $150 for tanks of 2000 litres or more, if they are plumbed into the toilet and/or washing machine by a licensed plumber.
