You’ve probably heard of the more active styles of yoga like Ashtanga and Vinyasa, but Yin Yoga helps to complement your workout at the gym. Yin Yoga is quite a meditative practice, where you hold static floor postures, anywhere between 3 – 5 minutes at a time. It gives your muscles a chance to relax, targeting the deeper tissues of your body, ultimately helping to decompress your joints, and improve the flexibility in your hips, pelvis and lower spine. Once you learn the poses, it’s easy enough to practice in your own HOME IN WA.
