It’s hard to get excited about a new product, but a replacement for timber decking has provided a pleasant surprised. This new product is called Nexwood and it’s truly an outstanding product. Made from recycled plastic and timber with the timber component actually grain husks. It’s super strong because it’s designed similar to the load bearing steel RSJ.
Now if you scratch a traditional timber surface, that scratch is very difficult to remedy, wherein, Nexwood only needs a rub with a wire brush and the scratch disappears.
It comes in a roughened surface to avoid slipping and is manufactured in three attractive colours and has a 10 year limited warranty
This product has an added bonus of sections that enable cabling for pool or garden lights to be channelled thru them, and to finish off the decking there’s attractive end pieces.
Nexwood is ideal for docks, decks, porches and fences. There’s no sanding, sealing, staining or painting required and of course it’s completely white ant proof. It resists moisture and rot and is environmentally friendly and non toxic.
