‘Home In WA’s – Building Ideas is proudly associated with the Master Builder’s Association in WA and we regularly feature the MBA Regional Branches and take time to highlight the great work our builder members are doing in the regional areas of Geraldton Mid-West, Kimberley/Pilbara, Goldfields-Esperance, South West and The Great Southern.
While in Geraldton, I caught up with the regional manager, Di Gilliland and looked at the members and suppliers display boards at the regional office as well as talking to Di about member services, like Insurance Cover, Mobile Phone Discounts, Contracts and Legal Advise as well as great deals from Mitsubishi Australia offering fleet discount to MBA Members. Oh, by the way ! A HUGE THANK YOU to the Mitsubishi Dealer – YOUNG MOTORS in Geraldton for supplying me with a terrific Mitsubishi Triton Ute to get around in.
Speaking of getting around, I had to move quick to keep up with Di as she whizzed off to the Central West TAFE where the “Croc Festival” – a touring expo with the aim of positive health and education for our indigenous youth, was underway and of course not wishing to miss an opportunity, Di was there, representing the MBA, and promoting the concepts of pursuing a career in the building and construction industry to the interested youth.
Of course, entries are now coming in for the Mid-West Building Excellence Awards and I look forward to being back in Geraldton on November 5 for the presentation night. Good Luck to all !!
