Established in 1952, Braemar has been offering care in WA for 65 years. Braemar is a values based organisation, backed by the Presbyterian Church.

Braemar focuses on relationship centered care; empowering residents to live meaningful lives. Braemar’s team engage with residents to find out what is important to them and develop a care plan for each person.

Braemar have three aged care facilities in the City of Melville and in the East Fremantle area – Braemar House, Braemar Village and Braemar Cooinda.

Located on the corner of North Lake Road and Leach Highway Cooinda is Braemar’s newest facility, providing quality care for up to 108 residents. This includes a 31 room specialist care service that caters for those with high support needs.

Braemar Village is just up the road, and offers picturesque gardens and a homely ambiance, while Braemar House in East Freo offers 58 rooms in a leafy, established suburb, also with a 24 room specialist care service.

All locations offer easy access to public transport and nearby shopping centres, restaurants and cafes.

Holly spoke with Braemar CEO Wayne Belcher about how important relationship centred care is and how proud they are that they have been looking after the ageing population in WA for over 65 years.

Braemar’s facilities offer vibrant amenity spaces, on-site professional care around the clock, private areas for visitors and they even have an on-site hairdressing salon and visiting allied health professionals.

Cooinda has a bright and modern ambiance while Braemar Village and Braemar House offer a warm, homely feel. All Braemar facilities offer high quality on-site catering; as well as access to outdoor areas, gardens and a laundry service.
