Earlier in the show Dan and Jane talked about the wonderful way her team can 'Jazz up' the interior of a home to help it sell. The view of the coast called for something clean, light and airy maximizing the spectacular location. Jane wanted to maximize this feature of the house it was important to choose furniture that would compliment this view and not take over so you don't see the view. So everything is kept light and bright and not too cluttered so the view stays NO1.
By reducing dividing the room with the furniture and giving it a minimalistic look Jane was able give prospective buyers and idea of what sized furniture they could use when they move in. This is carried through the entire home.
