Here in WA, some 130,000 people work in the Building and Construction industry, making it one of the largest employers in the State. There’s a huge range of opportunities available in the building industry, with careers in everything from being in the office as a Designer or estimator to being in the field as a Supervisor, Carpenter or Bricklayer.
Master Builders provides training for the entire spectrum of the industry with relevant courses designed to address industry skill gaps to ensure safe, sustainable and contemporary construction methodologies continue to be utilised in the industry.
Master Builders courses also enable subcontractors and tradespeople to advance their skill sets so that they can move into different fields within the industry or become supervisors for builders. And they now offer courses to help industry insiders with more than just practical skills.
Continued growth in training, has seen Master Builders open four training centres – Perth, Geraldton, Albany and in Bunbury – all offering the highest standard of training to members across the state, so that the industry can continue to enjoy employees of the highest standard. The rooms in Albany and Geraldton also feature display centres where you can find building products and other information on building.
You can find out more about any of the Master Builders Training facilities at www.mbawa.com and, if you’re interested in finding out more about Apprenticeships,www.ALink.org.au is a great online portal where you can find everything you need.
