The heritage listed Dongara Hotel Motel was built in 1867 and is part of the Historic Tourist trail. We’re right in the centre of town and from here it’s only a 10 minute leisurely walk to the beach.
The transformed Dongara Hotel is a terrific mix of the old fishing village structure and modern international influences. In what was traditionally a blokes pub, the hotel is now definitely very family friendly and comfortable.
This hotel has a very nice feel and, with 28 three and a half star motel rooms available, each with en-suite of course, it’s the perfect place to base yourself to explore Dongara and the mid-west.
This is a family friendly hotel motel, run by people who care. They like to get to know all all of their guests and make sure they have a good time here.
They also concentrate on their restaurant, employing two international chefs with 5 star backgrounds preparing fresh local and Asian style cuisine. Fantastic food and very affordable.
The Dongara Hotel also features the biggest bottle shop in town for take-aways and the only TAB in town if you feel like a bit of a punt.
If you’re in the area on a holiday, just visiting, travelling through or seeking accommodation for a night or a long-stay holiday…then the friendly and courteous service makes this a very comfortable home away from home.
28 room motel fully serviced with ensuits, hotel bars, restaurant, pub/TAB, Alfresco dining and bottleshop.
