Master Builders Association of WA

In this week’s Home in WA, Richard Repp is invited to inspect the Display Home of the Year, “The Arnage” by Zorzi Builders, located at 36 Downey Drive in Mosman Park.

This magnificent home was one of the major winners at the recent 2003 MBA Housing Excellence Awards, which are judged more for their building and construction excellence, rather than design. Although in this case, the combined talents of the entire Zorzi team are breathtakingly obvious.

To add to the excitement of Building Ideas in this edition, Simon Cain, Marketing Manager at home builder, Webb & Brown-Neaves reveals the brilliant design for the MBA’s third Show Home which is to be built at prestigious Minum Cove, Mosman Park.

The Webb & Brown Neaves team has designed a two-storey “upside down home”, where living areas, dining and kitchen are all located upstairs with bedrooms situated on the ground floor. This is specifically to take advantage of the splendid location and superb views down the Swan River towards Fremantle.

Meanwhile, the Master Builders Association is receiving on-going reports, indicating great interest in the current 2002 Show Home at Beaumaris Beach, Iluka.

This imaginative, contemporary home by Lifestyle Homes has been on display to the public since completion late last year, and is now available for purchase.
