This Week, we look at the building “Year in Review”, with the Master Builders Association and its Housing Director, Gavan Forster.
We touch on all the important issues including the impact of the GST, the first home owners’ grant, the introduction of energy rating which all new homes will have to achieve in 2003 and professional indemnity for builders.
Mr. Forster constantly monitors trends in the building industry and this week he defies those predicting a softening off of the current home building boom by suggesting that there’s no end in sight!
This is the second year of the MBA Show Home for Charity built under the constant coverage of Home in WA cameras and there’s a hint from the Housing Director that there’ll be a third one in 2003.
